I just recently watched The Godfather trilogy again in HBO. It’s one of my favorite flicks of all time. I was so into it that there were times in the past that I dreamt of being in a mob family, the power, the ladies, the money, the guns & the fame. To those who I know from the past, you know how I tried to live it out. 
Thinking back now, why would I like to be in a family that seems to have everything except love? Vito Corleone’s family who he saw rise to power from the slums seem to have everything. Their family who looks high and mighty from the outside is so rotten in the inside, infighting, greed, deception and bitterness. 
When Michael Corleone took over after his death he promised his wife Kaye to make their family business legitimate. But he wasn’t able to keep his promise and ended their marriage in divorce. His only son Anthony so despised him that when Michael invited him to work for the family, Anthony turned him down and didn’t want anything to do with the Corleone family. 
From Vito to Michael, they professed to have done everything to protect the family or so they thought. What are you doing for your family? What does your family need now; a bigger car, house, trip or more money? Or maybe all your family need is you.
