A Filipino Kids Pastor

The Week That Was…

The past 3 weeks was really busy & hectic. We had Vacation Bible Camp and then Boot Camp for Tweeners (10-13 years old). Then we got invited by Victory Urdaneta to train KIDS Ministry Volunteers from around Pangasinan & Tarlac area. Then the Greenhills team attended the first Sunday service of Victory Makati at AIM.

God impressed me with the message of hope. There is hope for our next generation. Hope for our nation and hope to share to all.

Parents invest on their kids to know God; they drove & accompany their kids for three days in VBC. The message was even clearer in Boot Camp where we saw right before our very eyes the future leaders of our nation. How as young as they are, they are seeking God, these are the leaders of tomorrow. I see hope in Victory Urdaneta where the shapers of tomorrow, the volunteers of KIDS Ministry were hungry to be equipped and they longed to be in God’s presence. In Victory Makati, I saw a glimpse on how God is working in our country. In the very heart of our business and busiest district, we are there and God is there.

The hope of this nation is in us, in our very hearts, let us humble ourselves and seek our Creator. We are nothing without Him, it will take more than a newly elected president to heal our land and to prosper it. It will take each and every one of us praying and obeying God. There is hope for this nation of ours and hope starts from us.

2Chronicles 7:14-15 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
