A good friend left for Canada today, after 5 years they were granted immigrant status. I gathered that he was a bit anxious because of the uncertainty that their family of 5 would face in their new location when we went out and had breakfast the other day. Our life sure is full of uncertainties yet what separates us Christians is our Faith in a risen Lord, Jesus Christ.
We know that we as Christians have assurance is complex yet simple. It is something logical yet it’s very hard to explain. It is why Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and all other fall short.

You have to believe Jesus or else you can only have assurance of uncertainty. Those in Christ have assurance of the certainty of Life (termporal and eternal), Truth, and the Way.

We are assured of these confidence: before God by the blood of Jesus; we are transformed in a new & living way; Jesus is our high priest; we are in God’s Kingdom & not of the world; our heart is clean from evil conscience because of Jesus.
So with this confidence we are to hold fast to the confession of our hope; stimulate to love one another; encourage one another and most importantly, remember He is faithful, so that we can be faithful
Hebrews 10
19. Therefore, brethren, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus. 20 by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh, 21 and we have a great priest over the house of God, 22 let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful ; 24 and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, 25 not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.
Without Christ everything is uncertain, only in Him we have security.
Surely its reassuring to know we have the confidence to approach The Throne of Grace in times of uncertainty…….
I always believed He penned our life and we shall never be forsaken. He gives us grace in EVERYTHING He places in our lives. He knows the desires of our hearts. It’s only in Him where we’ll find certainty and security.
