7 am I woke up so energized even after the 3-day hectic VBC schedule. We had 56 kids at this year’s VBC with 16 first timers. I love experiencing kids with all their heart coming to know Christ.
9 am Graced the baby dedication of the lovely daughter of Carl & Jenny Dy at Crown Plaza. I’m so happy to be part of that momentous event. Jianna is truly heaven sent; their family’s testimony has God’s hand all over it.
12 pm Quick lunch with family at home then it’s straight to church. After the VBC all of us still has hang over and we are expecting a different Sunday-service experience.
2 pm I met and encouraged members of Team 4. All were still pumped up even though more than half participated in the three-day VBC.
2:30 pm I met with my Victory Group. It was just me, Austin & Ryan. The others had previous commitments & couldn’t join. I always look forward to my Victory Groups especially with these pre-teens.
3 pm I told you energy was high! Glenda, Sheryl & Jun G. led the worship team. You can sense the Holy Spirit’s presence, the kids were really worshipping. Chel’s energy in praise dance was contagious.
I preached to kids about prayers, specifically praying to Whom & through Who. I was so happy to know first hand that our kids seriously know Whom & Who to pray to.
5 pm We surprised Ate Mila with a cake, it was her birthday days ago at 62 her passion & commitment in reaching the next generation hasn’t wavered a bit.
6:30 pm I met with the parents of our Boot Campers, we are set to go to Caliraya on Thursday and join hundreds of pre-teens for a 3 day equipping & empowering.
7:30 pm Dinner with my family; it was a hearty dinner with my parents and my siblings. What really bond us together are food, fellowship & family (company).
